Friends of Brecon Jazz [FOBJ] is a UK wide membership organisation associated with the Festival since its earliest days and is constituted to support the festival and to give Members a focal point, the CLUB HOUSE, during the Festival weekend. In addition we keep Members up to date through newsletters, information, some concessions and good year round relationships with promoters. This year, and hopefully, for some years ahead Orchard Media based in Cardiff, have been appointed to provide a lively and special jazz experience. Our initial contact with Orchard has been very positive.
Membership is important. We are constituted to financially support the Festival with half of our income and I believe there is much potential for boosting the membership at this time. It is a competitive membership fee, less than most Friends organisations around the UK, so please keep in touch with the website and I hope to see many of you at Brecon this year.
